Ben’s background is 15 years as a professional skydiver, competing and coaching at international level. Recovering from a major spinal injury and learning to walk again in his mid twenties, he returned to the air and travelled extensively, engaging with Buddhist meditation practices and retreats, Tibetan Buddhist practice, and Shaolin and Daoist energy arts.
He was a student of the Tom Brown Tracker school in New Jersey, and was trained by other spiritual teachers, including a Maori in New Zealand and an Inuit Shaman, Grey Wolf.
Having spent several solitary periods in the wilderness, the gifts and teaching received whilst alone with the earth form a great part of the experience he brings to bear in his courses.
Integrating the heightened levels of awareness, energy and peace experienced, and bringing that into the city and our daily lives is a key part of the day.

Re-Wilding Consciousness breaks the conditioned and involuntary pattern of continually focusing, then refocusing, our attention. (Like permanently clenching a muscle). Releasing ourselves from this habitual tension, we drop into a deeply relaxed state of heightened awareness and presence.

Natural Movement: How our bodies are designed to move, using muscles as shock absorbers, without sending shockwaves through body or environment. Movement affects and reflects our consciousness. We become synchronised with the rhythms of nature. We feel the life force within and around us, and are able to sense the world in ways that go beyond the physical.
